Just bought a 2001 Monte Carlo LS. Has 15,000 original miles. It's in like new condition and I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible. Even after 15 years it still has a hint of new car smell inside. Anyway, I'd like to find some quality floor mats to protect the factory carpeting. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tips, guys! I just ordered the Rubbertite mats from Lloyd. After reading the reviews, it looks like a lot of Monte Carlo owners have done the same. They're supposed to be custom fit. I look forward to recieving them.

i got all 5 mats for mine (the trunk one).

they fit perfect.

i ordered them without being careful and found out i have greyish black carpet instead of black.

 

Uh oh...my carpet "looks" black to me, but I may end up with the same experience as you since I doubt GM used different shades. I haven't ordered the trunk mat yet. I wanted to see how well the floor mats fit. Thanks for the feedback.
