So there is a dale jr 2004 ss supercharged for sale and the gas gauge is broken its just hanging straight down doesn't move for gas. How much would that cost to fix? Is it just a sensor? Thanks.

 

Does the needle move at all when you turn key on ?, Maybe a bad stepper motor in gauge.. I had to change stepper motor in my speedo ..

probobly just something on the cluster. a dale cluster might be hard to find but an SS should have the same cluster i imagine anyways and im sure many of their other cars use the same cluster, should be easy to come by. ive never bought one but my guess is anywhere from 50$ at a junkyard to 200$ new. or you could just replace the broken part on your unit like the 2nd post suggested. just take it to a shop and ask how much they'd do it for
