Question Subs and Trunk

Hey sound people!

I have a custom sub box in my old Camaro that I am about to put on the market and was wondering if I should put them in my 2005 LT.

I have 2 10" JBL's and a MTX amp...buuuuut the sub box is specifically made for the Camaro to fit in the T-top storage in the "trunk"..So I would have to either make one or get a generic one....

Ok, I guess I will just spit it out....Do our trunks rattle bad?...Should I even put the subs in or just sell it with the Maro?

Thanks for any info

depends on how you listen to your music. i have the jl w7 and the trunk rattles, but more so the rear fender and the licence plate which you can just put some dyno mat behind to solve.

The trunk rattles are much less then other cars, my grand am was horible and i had a w3 and a w1v2 in.

I'd keep it. Atleast you already have the equipment. Just build yourself a box that would fit in your trunk and go from there.

Jaws is right. just use dynomat where you are hearing rattles.

For some reason my subs sounded better when I faced them towards the cab (goes against what pretty much any audio expert says). Anyways now all my rattles are in my dash and mirror, the trunklid doesn't rattle like it used to anymore.

Ok, As long as it's not a super rattle cage..

I do have another question (two parter)

Does the factory 2005 LT stereo have sub preouts?

If not will the steering wheel volume controls work with an aftermarket head unit...I have an alpine but it’s kind of old.

You just have to buy an adapter for the steering wheel controls.

Yea I'm contemplating if I need the steering wheel controls since my radio is coming with a nice remote control.

I think I'm just going to sell it as a package deal. I put the Maro on Craigslist yesterday
