strong ticking noise coming from around the..

Default strong ticking noise coming from around the..

glove box area. when the a.c. is on it goes away. when i turn it of it ticks like crazy! then if i shut the car of with the a.c on or off it will continue to tick for 45 or 60 secs. any ideas what may be causing this?

You blower motor is behind the glove box area...

i think its the relay switch

I remember reading about this problem before on '06/'07 Monte Carlos. IIRC it has to do with the actuator for the blend door. Replacing the actuator solves the problem.

holy crap, the ticking would annoy the hell out of me.......I hope it doesn't happen on my car.......

Yeah, it scared the $#!T out of me when it happened. It's all good now though.

I should have kept my mouth shut, it started ticking today in my car....... It did go away with some switching AC on/off and messing with the controls, but it looks like I will need mine fixed soon......
