Default Speedometer Problem

I'm new on here so forgive me if I didn't do this right.

I Have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and sometimes when i'm driving my speedometer will quit working or float around sometimes but mostly just not work. And the ABS light isn't on and when there is rain on the ground the brakes make a grinding noise like the abs is kicking on. Same with snow. It turns into a sled and won't stop. Any ideas what it could be?

The stepper motors like to go bad in our clusters, it's not just a bulb, it's a soldered light and it's 'unservicable'

check out bbengineer.com he does repair services

Alrighty, thanks. I'll look into that. I hate dealing with that type of stuff. It's a pain in the ***.
