Question Speakers

Hello, I have been out of the scene for a good 5+ years and I know that uality has changed. I had 3 Autotek 10's 1cf sealed 147.2db.

Any that I should stay away from or that you would recommend? I have my Amp on its way. Just looking for speakers now.

Thanks. =]

Thank you.
with the 10's I had most people thought I had two 15's.
10's to me, have a better clean punch. I have had 15's but Muddy and three 10's room wise are easier to fit. I may stay with two. I have Looked at mmats, JL, MA audio,and so on, personally I stay away from audiobahn I just don't care for them maybe all the Shininess i don't like. I like Clean and simple.

JL Audio 12" w3v3 are about as clean and accurate as your going to get.

I had a pair of them and they sound so clean and crisp. and they can get loud too.

How much money you looking to spend for subs and ext..

I got the 13.5" w7 now, thats thing is loud and sounds good but i feel the w3 are more accurate and cleaner.

You say you have the amp purchased already? This will be a major factor in what subs you chose; what is it and what are the specs? What kind of sound are you looking for out of the system? Have you replaced anything else in the system?

I love the alpine type-R's I have and I added extra MTX speakers throughout the car, but I think the Alpines have them beat for clarity and hitting highs better. Cant go wrong with MTX though either.... running a MTX 12" 9500!

The first thing that just came to my mind is pair of the subs linked below. You'd be slightly under powered, but that wouldn't really be a problem. They're available with voice coil configuations that'll work right with your amp.
