Speaker wiring colors

Default Speaker wiring colors

I need to know which ones in the trunk with a factory amp. I need all the colors and which speaker they go to. It is an 03 SS. Thanks

Here is the standard info.





Rear Speakers
6" x 9"Rear Deck

Left Rear (+)
Brown

Left Rear (-)
Yellow

Right Rear (+)
Dark Blue

Right Rear (-)
Light Blue

There isn't too much available online for the premium stereo, you might be able to find out specifically in a Haynes manual.

Default Blue wires

If i may reply to this post, Their are like 4 shades of blue wires in the rear harness connected to the factory amp, so it's kinds of hard to figure out which 2 lead to the rear speaker. I would like to know exactly which 2 of the 4 they are because my amps dead, and I want to cut the wires from the harness to the speakers directly

2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Car Radio Wiring Diagram
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Red/White
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: The radio harness does not provide a switched power source. Run a wire to the fusebox for switched power.
Car Radio Ground Wire: Black/White
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Violet/White
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Purple/White
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: Pink
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: Pink
Car Stereo Amplifier Location: Under the rear deck in the trunk.
Car Audio Front Speakers Size: N/A
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: N/A
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Tan
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green

Yea, I have a 2003 monte, and the other blue wires do not have any white or black stripes on em I don't believe, I'm going to have to double check though.

03 and 06 are way diff. 06 didn't come with a amp system. Only 00-05
