2006 SS

My car says it has an upgraded stereo (8 speakers). Where are these speakers located ? I count 4, one in each front door and 2 at the back window.

 

It has Tweeters. So I assume the 2 you see in the door each have a tweeter, so there is 6. The same goes for the rear speakers, Makes 8.

 

idk why they'd put tweets in the back, sounds pointless, but yeah thats what it means, are you planning on upgrading them? it's pretty simple really, i believe there are 2 screws on the part you grab, those are hex heads, need an alen wrench, than theres the cosmetic face plate for the door handle, one screw, and it slides off, twords the hinge.

than simply get a grip under the far outside bottom corner, pull untill one of the pins comes, than just work your way around, there just push in pins, they'll pop out, but they'll take some force

thats WITH my new tweeters yours will look dif, i modded my baffle a little bit to get them in
