Default sound system question about amplifiers PLEASE HELP THANKS IN ADVANCE

well i wanna install my zxkicker1000.1 mono block amp that has a 100A fuse ratting and possibly a alpine amp for the speakers that has a fuse rating of 50A. my alternator is 125Amps lol. is this even gonna be possible without destroying my alternator?

the kicker amp will power my 2 L5s and the alpine would power 4 polk speakers...should sound sick but is this even going to be possible? lol please help

thats just what the alt produces, the battery can easily take 400 amps of draw, the problem is the battery keeping up, a stock battery how ever will easily keep up with 150 amps, your barley over your rating, plus those are the max ratings, that 100 amp mono block will pull 50-65 amps, and that 50 amp will pull 30 amps, so you're plennnnnnnty good my friend.

I doubt your gonna have any dimming, especially if you replace the battery under the hood and upgrade the big 3, run the largest power wire ur amp can handle and make sure its all grounded nicely

I have a t1000.1 rockford fosgate power series pushing 2 10" kicker L7s with factory amp pushing infinity kappy 6x9s and components. I use 0/1 gauge wire kit and a 2 farad cap. I think its time to upgrade somewhere because my lights dim when the heavy notes hit. I can literally see my battery gauge drop. Im thinking of getting a power cap or a battery in the trunk? but yea to answer your question, you can do it but for that much juice you will need some extra reserve

Those T series Fosgate amps are known power hogs so even though you're only running 1k watts, I believe it! I've seen what happens in my buddies car when he put in a t1500, not good. But yeah, if you didn't upgrade the Big 3, your 0ga wire kit is all for show cause the most current it'll carry is based on the smallest wire in your power/ground wire setup. So if the battery is grounded to the chassis and/or engine block with anything smaller than 0ga (rest assured it is) then your 0ga is only carrying the current capacity of the smallest wire. I say do the Big 3 before you do anything else.
