Like Jimbo, I was sort of wondering what out there might help with tinted windows, but after reading Mike's post there sort of seems to be a difference in the thoughts about the brightness...

Yeah, I don't think the light would be better. Whiter, sure, but brighter, to the point it would help reverse visibility, I have my doubts.

when i went to change my leds in the reverse, i wanted them to be like the reverse lights on the newer caddys. when i recieved my leds last winter, i wasnt as thrilled as i though when i put them in. they werent as bright as i thought it would be, i just think our reverse lenses dont spread out the light because it was made for a regular bulb

Yeah, it's definitely nice to see the whiter light when I lock / unlock my doors. And when my car is reverse, but the light projections just aren't good. Luckily Philadelphia is usually well lit up so it doesn't matter, but up in the Poconos, I find it hard to back-up a driveway

i wonder if you could somehow fit those small oval fog lights you see at the autoparts stores in the reverse light spot? now that'll give you some back up light!

Has anyone looked at getting a set of Sylvania Silverstar reverse lights? I'm thinking about picking up a pair.
