Replace Switch lights with LED????

Default Replace Switch lights with LED????

the passenger side lock and window switch no longer have the light on...So i want to just switch to LED, i need to know what size LEDs and anything else i need to do it. resistors? a actual write up on how to do it would be highly appreciated. its driving me nuts! and half of the AC control unit is missing its light too any help on how to change that one would be great too.

honestly, i wish i could help, sorry, hopefully tomorrow or the next few days someone might be able to help you out!! 18 pages with no results, that sucks, i get a huge headache searching sometimes. goodluck man, i hope you can find the right fix for your issue!!!!!

You cant replace them, its very delicate and needs sautering.

You could also send everything to that guy, I know he did silverbullets car and it looks great.

you CAN do it, I just can't find the write-up that Mickey did for it.

Yes it's delicate, but if you are good with that stuff you can surely do it.

like enzo said check out bbengineer for you ac/heat controls and dash. that led replacement will last a long time and you can choose from different colors. I know there used to be a write up on doing all the other switches and steering control buttons. if chibi can't find it then it must be gone. I know silverbullit did all his interior switches and buttons and it looks very very nice. maybe send him a pm and see if he will post some info.

well thanks for all of the attempted help guys, i have seen that BBengineer site, i really can afford for him to do everything, i currently have the leds and the resistors. all i need to know now is the placement of the resistor and i think im currently reading a website that is showing i need to place it on the negative, i shall see. and post some pics of the final product.
