Default Recommended aftermarket headunits?

Self-explanatory. Looking to buy one as my next audio upgrade, current is stock. I'm not looking for anything that has a moving screen that comes out. GPS is not necessary, I think that's getting a bit too pricey for me. I'm looking for one that has red lighting available, at least. Anything else, I'm open to ideas.

Budget is approx $400 max. Suggestions?

Car Selector

Check those out! I'm sure you can find them cheaper on Ebay! These are double din and have some pretty good features.

I sugggest the pioneer avh line, they have some very affordable units, like the 4300, and the 3300, the 4300 is the one you'd be interested in, it has a flip out screen, full touchscreen, and can even be upgrade for another 200$sh to have GPS.

It sounds like pioneer is the consensus among you all. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
