Default Rear side panels...

Need I really remove the entire back seat to take off the rear side panels? Has anyone been able to unclip/unscrew them without messing with the seats? I've used a bunch of tools to remove the seats and I can't because the metal bars below them get in the way of the bolts... I really need the side panels to come off but there's got to be an easier way?

??? people ask here, which is researching?

for the original post, you will need to remove the rear seat because the moldings are tucked behind and under it

no problem haha, I was gonna say, you're one of the few car audio guys that have held you're cool around here for a while and I like you, I was hoping you weren't turning to the dark side =p

OP, let me try and check later in the week but i really think it has to come completely off

I'm pretty sure you're right, I was just hoping someone would come along and save the day with, "nope, just ask it nicely and the seats will remove themselves!" But alas, I have to fight them. It's stubborn, though. I want to have a little 'talk' with the guy in charge of the fabrication...

Could you do a write up on the process? I have tried to do this before, and failed.
