Default RCA CABLES

What would be the best rca audio cable for my aftermarket car stereo on my 2000 Monte Carlo SS. I have a alpine head unit and a kicker 600 watt amp ? I also replased my side and rear speakers.

I would go to your local stereo shop and get a set from them. As long as they are from a manufacturer that makes quality audio components you should be fine. I have used memphis, crossfire, andxtaticrca's and they all worked fine. I've never tried monster cable but I would think that they would be pretty good as well. I would probably stay away from anything that you would see it wallmart or at checkers. But for the most part there is not going to be a noticable difference from one rca to another.

i use scosche because it was free lol but it works real good and i belive is relatively cheap. but unless you plan to make a competetion bass mobile the name brand wont matter just whatever you come across thats cheap and good

Im notgoing to try and sell brands here. What you want is a cable that willuit your needs. Get a RCA that is close to the length yah need, dont get one where you have to coil it up and hide it under your seat lol. Try and get something that has alot sheilded well. Now Brands like Monster, Directed, and Stinger make great cables that have "levels" of cable that you cna buy.

there really isn't a "best", it's all subjective. I have all KnuConceptz interconnects in my car, high quality product at an affordable price.

Negative sir. RCA cables are not rated for wattage as they have nothing to do with that, they simply carry voltage signal from the deck to the amp, what happens to that signal after that has absolutely nothing to do with the RCA's. The input signal is carried on the RCA's, the output signal is carried on the speaker wire. So regardless if your amp puts out 50 watts or 5000 watts, you can use the same rca's for either of them.

You could also get a line driver which would give you a better cleaner more powerful signal to your amplifier if you were worried about the signal from the deck.
