I'm trying to get my boyfriend a radio harness for his 2001 Monte Carlo as a gift. I don't know much about cars and I'm not sure of what brands or types are better, if anyone could make any suggestions.

I have always used PAC for integration into factory features

 

X2 PAC. Does he have radio controls on the steering wheel he wants to use? It's been a while since I replaced a radio in my GM, but you need the chime module in addition to a radio harness to connect the factory wiring to the aftermarket radio.
