what are you all doing about the oil and tire monitors when yall install your after market radios and posibly xm and onstar just curious becasue my car has all of them and i want a new radio

resetting them manually per the owners manual

i dont know what happened to my reset thing but there is this little button down under my dash at the middle of the center console i think that mite have something to do with it

Negative. If you look in your manual, you will see there some of those monitors can be reset w/o using the deck.

well sorry about that i thought i had red my owners maunual beetr than that thanks for correcting me
but still can u keep the onstar/xmsystems

I am curious, I have not pulled out my owners manual for quite some time, does your manual spell out alternative reset directions DESS03?

yeah it says for the oil monitor depress and relese gas pdel 3 times and for tire monitor it says turn running lights on and off 3 times

hoseslt i have had a car where you had to do the gas three times fast it was a PAIN IN THE ****!!!!!

I just hid the stock stereo in the trunk and put it next to the speaker box
So when the whole thing gest doen it is just go to the trunk and reset it liek normal no problems doing it the harness price sux but well worth it in teh end for all the ehar aches. Our montan van was apush the peddel three times and half of the time you ran around thinking it was reset to find out it didnt.
