UPDATE:
A couple pics of more progress. Just need to put in the red shift ****, red/black steering wheel, console lid, custom gauge cluster and a couple more things I will be doing to the door panels. Was going to take her out earlier today for the first time in a long time but before had chance to leave driveway, main brake line blew apart, so now have to wait to get that fixed, ugggggg. Also don't forget to check out the album link in the first post in this thread to see more pics. Sorry for bad quality pics.

Will try to post pic of restored pace car steering wheel tonight or tomorrow. You can see the before pics of it in my album link in first post in this thread.

Looking Awesome Lisa...

However you have triggered/inspired something in me for sure.

My father gave me his 1958 Impala... IT 2 was two tone...
I am seriously considering doing a black/white theme...
Inside and out!

Nice work! very well done!
Thanks for the update...
Looking forward to the finished Pics!

Well now that had to be such an enormous task, a true labor of love on your already award winning Monte Carlo. What has this taken, most of your summer and fall? I remember reading how the seats were exceedingly in need of cleaning and such. You have done a remarkable job with your Monte's interior makeover. Comes across as a feisty interior and really gives your car a pepped up presentation. Isn't your exterior silver racing stripes themselves bordered with red striping? I'm looking for a tie-in, continuity, you have an extremely exquisite exceptionally nice Monte Carlo SS for yourself!

Wow! That came out GREAT!
On the subject of brakes, I put new rotors and pads on the SS a couple of weeks ago. So I back out of the garage and the brake line near the fuel filter popped. Replaced both lines for good measure.
