Honestly, I didn't even bother. The SC is 100x worse than an alternator because the finish is stupid rough- and there are a lot of flat surfaces where you have to make sure you keep a perfectly level finish (so as not to get waves in the mirror).

I came across a guy on clubgp named gr8racingfool (now banned, he's on the other GP forum)- and sent my SC to him to be polished (you just have to take it apart)- I want to say he was only charging like $225 or 250 or something- which seems like a lot, until you start to think how many tons of hours you're going to have into it. The thing came back absolutely perfect- very professionally done- I'd say well worth the money.
