What electrical upgrades have you done/are you doing to feed that beast of an amp (that thing is super power hungry)? I wanted one in a bad way but i'm on stock electrical and needed something more efficient. Nice amp though if you have the electrical to back it up.

Are you doing the install/fabrication?

This Friday Im upgrading to 0awg wire and doing the big 3. My Guy from Exile Customs here where I live is doing the fab work and some of the layout. Im doing the wiring. He also can get stuff at dealer cost so im getting things cheaper.

I Will be getting a kinetic battery up front and in the trunk as well. I will be running just 1 of these amps for a while and in the spring probably I will add a second US AMPS amp wired together.

That's it? I know lots of people who have run these amps and they're hogs, I think you should really consider getting a high output alt at the very least before you strap two of these beasts together. It would help drastically even for the one you plan on running in the interim. Just a suggestion

^^^ I know about the Alternator possibility. I was hopeing to avoid it. Before I started this build I knew that I might have to upgrade. But I also knew that whether or not I upgraded all my other stuff was going in like the batteries ect.. So I was going to see what its like when its all done and see what I got. If I really need it ill put a HO alternator in. If not than I wont.

But its ran strong for me the last 2 years with a 1500wrms overall system on a just a normal battery and stock alternator so we shall see.!!

My prediction is that the drain on your electrical is going to be substantial w/stock alt, 2 batteries, 2 MD3D's and the 300/4. I think even just one MD3D is going to be a pretty nice draw but I guess you'll see how that works out once you get it all done.

I have about 1600rms running to my subs and another 440rms going to my mids/highs....so just over 2k rms total and I have stock electrical and very little dimming, but my amps are about as efficient as they come too so that helps alot. Because my dimming is such a non-issue at the moment I haven't even measured how much voltage drop I get, might do that sometime soon just for the sake of curiosity.

Here's a video of my system at full tilt, see any dimming?

If you need a box design or have any questions, let me know and I'll help you out as much as I can

Alright Finally got to do some rewire.

This is what some of it looked like before the rewire. Cleaned this up. Not that you saw it anyway. All the speaker wires that are here were scrapped and replaced. Also upgraded the Power wire to the JL Slash 300/4 amp to Rockford Fosgate 4 AWG. Didnt get to upgrade the sub power wire and the main Power from battery. That will be Stinger 1/0 AWG

All the speakers got new Rockford Fosgate 12 AWG Wire. Wired in Series to the JL Slash 300/4 amp to bridge it to get 150 RMS to each speaker. The Sub got 8 AWG wire. Layed new RCAs as well. Rockford Fosgate Premium RCAs. So much better than the JL ones I had.

This is a rough Layout of the New amp rack. Amp will probably be mounted on 45 degree but not 100% sure. I need a second one in here too.. When done it will be clean and a piece of Plexiglass placed on top.

^^^nah ill be fine. Everyone know that I got stuff in there. The Rims and tint give it away anyway. Ive had the JL Logo on the car for about 1.5 years never had any problems. I also live in the country and in a good neighborhood so in not really worried about it. Plus I got the decal for free.

Im Sorry but what do you mean about with the 4200 or 3200
