So you saying that your new headunit will NOT come out even if the dashboard is ripped out because of the way its mounted? Or, you can take your headunit out?

 

No lol, the only way to get it out is to take the dash out. So its not an easy steal for someone that wants to try and take it. Like for example... a single din, just use some Pioneer or jvc keys or something, dont have to take the dash apart or anything. Either that or it will have a cheap plastic trim plate, once again easy to rip out, but this one wont come out unless you can get to the screws that bolt it in cuz there is no cage or easy way to remove it. Its like an iso mount, goes in the same way the factory radio does

 

i didn't realize that, that's definitely good to know. that's one of the things i've been afraid of, is getting it stolen. cool!
