New Headlights...
They are dipped in a two-way translucent kind of metallic coating that makes the bulbs look silver when off, but show the normal color when in use. They look great in the headlights that are clear, like the ones you're looking at.
Yeah, you only see the yellow when it is flashing. It's coated with a translucent metallic finish to mask the amber filament when not flashing and blend into the rest of the headlight. When the light flashes, the amber filament shines through the coating and surprises everyone. With those headlights, the indicator lens is clear instead of amber, so you see no colour when the lights are off. I know someone who has them and everywhere he takes his car you hear "hey, how do you do that?"
