Check ebay and junkyards, those are about the only options.

i'd try bondo and fiberglass, shoudlnt be to hard. just hold it the way it should, apply some thin mat fiberglass as a bandaid, front back, bondo, paint.

otherwise yes, that peice is in the 500-700$ range, its a complicate molding process for that, pretty much why almost nobody does it. the last gen didnt do it.

if your really dead set on a repalacment over repairs, silverbullet is a knowen junkyard hopper around the forums and i've seen him talk of having many dash peices, granted you're looking at least 140$ just in shipping. but i imagine you could do 200$ + shipping on one from a member who frequents junk yards. hit up the classafies on the forum. occasionally i've seen people who recently crashed thier monte part out stuff too. not aware if their are any right now. but id search history.

It wont look as good as just replacing it. Go to a junkyard and get one. Its not worth $200, either.

you can get a perfectly fine look with fiberglass, just read up on it, all the skill is in the finish, it takes no skill to mat down some fiberglass and sand bondo. just tons of Patience.

I'm pulling-of the Dash Plastic on my Monte, this week. After learning about the trouble you had ... I'm going slow and making sure I have all the Clips and Screws figured-out before diving-in.
I have to get my Engine Temperature Gauge's needle pointing in the right direction.
After reading this thread, though ... I toyed with the idea of drilling a small and moving it back-around to where it needs to go with a Carb Cleaner Tube.
