Question Need Help With Gauges And Gauge Pod!

I have an 04 monte ss s/c. My set up so far is K&N CAI, 180 tstat, ac delco wiring and plugs, speed daddy headers and i just ordered s1x cam shaft! I also just recieved my gauge pod. My question is what gauges (3) are most important to have? And how do i go about installing them?? Also once installed do they automatically light up the color of my dashboard lights?? Any advice helps! Thanks in advance!

I'd definitely invest in an Aeroforce Scan Gauge.. Great way to monitor various things and watch for k.r., that would probably be what I would pay the most attention to, along with various temps, fuel trims, etc. They are well worth the price IMO

I have ONE as of now but more than likely I'll be adding two more down the road. They look great and you can scan/display soo many parameters.

They can be purchased from zzp here ====>Aeroforce - Aeroforce Intercepter Scan Gauge #

The gauges that I would invest in are:

Aeroforce Scangauge (get this one first)

Oil Pressure gauge

Wideband

Fuel pressure gauge

If you don't have a boost gauge, get one of those too.

Don't worry about Trans temp gauges or Volt gauges, those won't really help you out at all.

Plugs into the cars OBD2 port and comes on when the car is on and turns off when the car turns off.. Install was super easy IMO.

Agreed. My Aeroforce was one of the best thing I ever bought for my Monte. They are invaluable for troubleshooting on the fly.
