It does not always work like that. rms is more on how loud it will sound, but has no effect on sound quality. you can have a speaker that is 100 rms less but actually sound better

Just throwing this in the mix but I love my Profile California amps! I think one of the only places you can get them now is crutchfield.com. I run my speakers off them and they sound great and I also run my sub with them also!

Basically when you pick your amp, pick one that does close to the same RMS wattage as your speakers. I know your 6x9s are rated for 80 watts, but I didn't see a rating for the front speakers anywhere. I'd guess they're lower than 80, so all in all, look for an amp that does 75-100 x 4 at 4 ohms.

Once you get it, you'll have to learn how to set your gain properly or you'll risk blowing speakers. This is quite possibly the MOST important step when setting up the system, and the most common place for people to screw up. It's also probably the most common cause of blown speakers.

That's a two channel amp. Doesn't make much sense if you want to amp 4 speakers.

http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/produ...***-amplifier/
this is what i have. its very clean, efficent power. it should handle all your speakers. 75x4 at 4ohms or 125x4 at 2 ohms depending on how you wire and number of speakers. 1100 x1 at 1 ohm stable, it actually can handle less then that on a daily basis, 600x1 at 2 ohms. built in high/low pass crossover, subsonic filter, and bass ****/optional. i got mine from a dealer, i know they Wont honor warranty claims not bought though dealers. it fits right inbetween the wheel wells, and stays ice cold. ive abused it for 1.5 years and it shows no signs of slowing down. comes with a 3 year warranty plus one more if memphis wiring is used. no other company offers that.
