Sorry for the low info dont really know about this stuff but I got it to work only because I had to wire the 2yellow wires with a red wire. Also had to wire the remote amp wire to those 3. Now when I turn off my car my amp stays on causing it too kill my battery. I don't have the model numbers with me will try and find out! Also my deck won't turn off unless I pull the face off. Any ideas why? Any diagrams I can follow?
The red wire is the one that turns the deck on, it only gets power when the key is turned to the acc position or the car is started up. The yellow wire is your constant power wire, it's the one that allows your stereo to retain it's settings and what not, it keeps power to your deck for that reason. The remote wire should be just like the red wire, only gets power when the key is turned to the acc position or the car is turned on.
The reason the amp stays on is because you have the red and yellow wires connected so even when the car gets turned off, the amp is still powered due to the remote wire being connected to the constant power wire (yellow). That's also why your deck won't turn off unless you take the face off.

ur harness could be junk....i have an 06 and i origianlly used a GMOS adaptor to hook up my JVC arsenal head unit and the radio got power but the speaker signal and remote turn on feeds were losing power at the adaptor...GMOS sucks dont buy them...got the PAC a day later and it works great. it also came with an external speaker to keep the chimes which made it great and easy to by-pass my factory amp and put my alpine one in
It sounds to me like the red wire is the culprit here....just to make sure you can run a wire from the radio fuse in the driver side fuse box and connect the red wire from the stereo harness to it, and connect the yellow wire to the yellow, blue to the remote wire going to your amp.....I got $5 that says your deck works like it should if you do that. what part are you talking about?
Get a wire, preferably something 16-22ga. Cut a length that will reach from the fuse box on the driver side to stereo, making sure to leave a little extra slack just in case. Find the fuse in the driver side fuse box labeled "cig/aux" and pull that fuse out. Strip one end of the wire you just cut and wrap the wire around one "foot" of the fuse and reinstall it in place. On the harness that comes out of your stereo, connect the red wire to the other end of the wire you just connected to the fuse box. Then connect the yellows together, ground deck (black wire) to the chassis of the car....if your looking at the stereo opening, upper right hand side you'll see a bolt with 2 or 3 black wires connected to it, that would be the ideal spot. Make sure the blue wire on the deck is connected only to the remote wire it powers up (the one that goes back to the amp). You now should be able to turn on your stereo and it should function normally.
