i tried to put 2 15s in the back of my monte but i couldnt do it becaue the 6x9s unscrewed themselves.........somehow dont ask and fell into the trunk. so i backed off and put 4 12 inch rockford t1's. Bangs pretty good i guess, shaks everything in the car to hell. i need to dynomat like crazy

you could have been loctite on the screws for the 6x9's

woohoo for T1s! thats the only rockford subs i'll buy, and i can get 50sq feet of dynamat for 78 dollars shipped and that should do your whole car or 100sq feet for like 139 shipped and that will cover every piece of metal in that monte.

very nice my friend, we have similar decks, on yours do you have any problem with the face staying lit? seems mine wasnt machined perfectly so u gotta sometimes really push the face back on to make it work properly

Subs- 2 12" alpine type R's facing the front of the car with seats down (less rattle better sound IMO)

Amp- Rockford fosgate p6002

wiring- rockford fosgate

Head unit- Alpine (need to get a better one on this one you cant adjust the lows, mids, highs,)

still hits really really hard

I have Two rockford P2 12's and Rockford 1500 watt amp with a half farad cap..

2 12" Cerwin Vega Series Subs
Pioneer GM-X354 4 Channel Amp
2 Pioneer TS-A1664 6 1/2"
2 Pioneer TS-A694 6x9
2 MA Audio Maez Tweeters on the pillars
never got the db tested but it pounds is really all i can say and since i installed the tweeters it pounds and is crystal clear at high volumes

in my 87 monte...

in the trunk i have 2-12' Rockford Fosgate T2 subwoofers in a dual ported box running off a T4000 RF amp. dual capacitors.

in the car i have 2-8' RF P3's behind the seat running off a single T1000 RF amp. no cap. 4-Alpine Type R 6x9's 2-3' Alpines for the dash and 8 Alpine dual component tweeters. everything with crossovers and amplified, no cap. also have the alpine in-dash, double din dvd player.

my brother owns a shop so i get everything at cost...not to brag.
