Default My subwoofer set up in my DD

I know this isn't a Monte but this is what I just put in my Malibu. I consider this very low budget for the fact everything you see only cost me $30. The subwoofer, amp, and box I got on craigslist for $10. The outline converter I bought for $15 and the RCAs I bought for $5. The wiring I had laying around the garage. The box is a mtx box. The amp is a JBL 190 watt rms 4 channel amp. The subwoofer is a kenwood 125 rms subwoofer. The wiring I used was 4 gauge power and ground. Here are some picutes.

That's Crazy!! While your not intending to win any sound competitions with this set up, I bet it will do just fine for your Malibu.

I'm not a huge fan of excessive bass sounds, seems like the ultra low frequencies really make me nauseous for some reason. And then I don't feel like riding around anymore. Yuck...

I only put one 10" sub in mine and keep it turned way down to a reasonable amount of bass tones.

Hell for $30 bucks you scored, you one Crazy ****... I take it your not upping your insurance coverage over this new audio install?

Yeah I will not be upping my insurance. Hahaha I like it for what I paid. I always like the bass. Either you hate or love it.

I like it. I considered a smaller system like this but decided for a bigger one. I can ride around all day with it tuned way down low. Then when im leave the hookah bar on Saturday nights and all the ricers are out front showing off there cars I turn off the TCC, crank the bass and leave in a nice cloud of smoke with screaming tires and pounding bass! thats way less than I paid for mine haha.

That's pretty much what I do in my Monte. I have 4 12s and it has about a little over 1000 watts rms.

I think im hitting 1000W rms in mine cause I have 2ohm dual voice coil on an amp designed for 2000w rms at 2 ohms. But I only have 2 12"

Optidrive 500x2. 500w RMS 2chanels @ 4 ohms. I guess that at 2 ohms its either 750x2 or 1000x2 depending oh how new or old it is.

The subs I have are rated for 1500 rms each.
