Default LOW volume on new head unit

I just installed a new pioneer head unit into my 2001 monte ss, it works, but in order to hear anything at all, the audio has to be turned up all the way. I also installed an Axxess GMOS-04(Wiring harness- onstar and door chime) and a Axxess ASWC (steering wheel controls). Any help with why the volume would be so low?

You may need to use the GMOS-01 surprisingly. There is a blue adjuster on the GMOS though. Turn that up with it unplugged and then plug it back in and see if that helps.

Yeah, as it turns out, I ordered the GMOS 01, but I didn't get it. Instead they sent me the GMOS 04 inside the GMOS 01 packaging. Hopefully with the GMOS 01 it will work just fine.

Should, I've had this problem before on 04+ GP's, 00+ Montes, Silverados, etc.

Do you have an amplifier in the trunk between your 6x9's?

Nope, no amplifier, which is why the GMOS 01 is the one I need
