Are LEDs for the interior the same as LED headlights where if you touch the glass, the bulb is no longer in working condition?

I bought some Red LEDs off of ebay. When i finally got all the stock bulbs out of the interior (and trunk), i put in the red leds i got, but NONE of them worked! Then when i went to put the original bulbs in, THEY DIDNT WORK EITHER!?!?!? Now i only have 1 standard yellow factory bulb in the OnStar mirror and a red LED in the dome light(which works, but then again i got it from a different vendor). Im wondering if it may have to do with the fact that i bought 10 of them for...$5 from China

Turn the bulb around and try that way.

Some LEDs only work facing one direction, you might have had bad luck lol

What Mike said. You can touch them all you want, the do however have to go in the right way 90% of the time.

You may have blown a fuse also if the original ones are working, but that doesn't happen often with LEDs

All good! it was just a bad wire connection. I now have replaced all the interior lights with Red LEDs! (Including the trunk) looks great!

Any of you guys do the fog lights and/or headlights as all LEDs? How do they look? Anything required besides just popping in the new bulb?

Do you think HID is better?

I don't think that they make LED headlights. I'm not sure about the fog lights though. HID's are the way to go in my opinion. Here's a good site for them

Well, the reason I ask is because of these, that supposedly replace the model of bulbs that are in our headlights. A bit on the expensive side for lightbulbs, but I was curious anyway.
