Default LED Tail Light Design

I'm going to be starting a LED tail light build soon for my 5th gen. I've started to order some parts and mess around with a spare set of tails. I will be using individual SMD LEDs so I can make any design/array I want. I've been trying to come up with ideas on what I want the lights to look like.

Here's some ideas I came up with. I like number one or two the best. What do you guys think? Feel free to offer some suggestions!!

Yes I used paint to make these lovely drawings :-P

Let me know what you think

Uno! But will these LEDs be bright enough to serve as brake lights with your tints? As soon as you tint tails you become the one at fault when you get rear ended.

I have a second set of tails I will be retrofitting these LEDs into. They will NOT be tinted

I like number 4 or 5. It would be cool if you could maybe wire it so that the top half of the lights be the braking lights, and the bottom half be the turn signals? Lol if that's possible I'm actually not sure how the 5th Gen's taillights actually work but yeah, It'd be cool

It's definitely possible with enough wiring.

At the moment I was thinking of just having one set of lights that got brighter for braking/blinkers just to keep it simple, but I like the suggestion

The lights are pretty simple. There is a bulb with two filaments inside the lens. Driving lights (parking lights) are the bulb with one filament lit up, while turn signals and brakes are the bulb with both filaments lit up.

2 parallel strips in the bottom section, and in the top, one that follows the line to use as a blinker/brake light.

I vote for this

I think any of the designs you made would look great being LED.
