I have an 01 ss and im wondering if the trim on the doors is leather, it was hard and plasticky feeling then i put leather conditioner on it by mistake and then it seemed to soften up? i keep putting it on it and its getting softer so it it leather?!?! thanks!

 

I'm pretty sure all the trim stuff in the montes is plastic

 

Its a type of plastic like the dash pad is

Yep, Chevrolet did right using this type of softer feeling/looking plastic instead of using the hard stuff for everything. Looks so much better than all those cars with the hard plastic dashboards, panels, etc.

 

LOL.... Mine is Leather but only because I reupholstered it. Was a pain to do too.
It can be done if you are patient
