Hvac l.e.d
Hey guys, so my hott or cold selector switch L.E.D on the driver side is burnt out...how can I replace that?
Also, while I'm at it...How hard is it to replace the whole dash lighting with new L.E.D's? Like lets say...white?

LED"s shouldn't die :| but you'll need to take off the dash face, this is done by 3 simple screws, and some paciance, first there is 1 on the driver side left by the fuse box, than theres under under your steering wheel, you'll need to take off that panel below that holds your button for your trunk, that is pretty simple. i think it just pops out, than theres a screw in there, and theres on in your glove box, far left side top corner of the glove box, than simply start pulling it back, it'll pop off, but you'll want to be carfull, your four ways stay button is on that, and i managed to break mine (easy fix with glue) and put your gear shifter in 1st, and tilt your wheel all the way down. than the climant control unit is a small box about the face sice of a deck, half the depth. i beleive it has a few screws holding it, and pull and unplug and you're g2g.
i'm fairly certain the LED"s can be on this car, but on some cars its near imposable. i think there was a member here who did white LED's in his dash. good luck with that...i woudln't even really know where to begin.

he does it custom. in order to do it yourself you need to be good at splicing and get leds, the burning out of the stock leds is really common.
if your looking to do it yourself just send him an email, and he'll probably be happy to help you, he does hvac and gauge clusters and a bunch of stuff as you can see.
thread for removing the dash:

its a pretty easy process just looks hard
theres 4 screws once you get the dash off to remove the gauge cluster and im pretty sure 4 also for the hvac, you just remove them then remove the back part which gives you access to where the lights are
