Talking HUD in my 01 Monte SS...

Thought I would make a few members jealous on here of my custom "mod" to my 01 Monte SS. Take a gander at this here windshield and you will notice a big 0, when I accelerate that number increases..."But how could this happen? Monte Carlo's never came with heads up display!"

Well at this point if you are still reading you will either figure out I am either
a. lying
b. a technological genius
c. stretching the truth

Here's where the fun comes in; SpeedView is an app in the android marketplace that allows you to create a heads up display off you're phone when placed under the windshield, it automatically flips the image so that it reads upright to the driver. Pretty awesome, its more accurate than my normal speedometer actually. With my 18's I figured it would be off and it is by about 2 mph which may actually save someone a ticket someday. So all in all I figured I would share this cool idea to some of you guys here on the forum and of course tease ya a little in the process!

Yeah not really worth it since I can look down 8 inches and see the speed right in front of me on the speedo!!

getting it right now, will take around the block and upload!

EDIT: Ill take a video in the morning lol, didn't realize what time it was. Looks to work decently but is a little delayed, so not sure how the 0-60 times would work, just did this walking around with it though.

I literally only did this with it and to configure my speedometer with the bigger wheels. I need to play around with it also.
