This here is my first post on this site. Anyways, I am trying to put 6th gen leather seats into my 7th gen monte carlo LTZ. The 7th gen has a power seat for the driver. The 6th gen leather seat that's the driver seat is powered as well. All I want to do is make the 6th seat powered in the 7th gen. IDC about any of the heated seat stuff. Anyways does anyone know what wires I need to hook up to new seat to the car.
The 7th gen monte carlo has four wires coming from the plug. One is a thick black wire, the other is a teal blue and one is thick pinkish red with a white stripe and one is orange. The 6th gen seat has like 6 wires. One is all black. Another is black and a white stripe. One is a thin pink one and one is a orange one and a teal blue. Does anyone know what wires connect so I can make the seat have power. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
