Default How do yoou build the AMP compartments?

This is a dumb question but i really wanna know.lol. I see a lot of pis with people's AMPs mounted to the inside of their trunk. I wanna know how you mount it like that? Or, am i thinking about it too much and just put it a box and nail it? Any suggestions would be nice.

I already have blue interior lights so i wanna make the theme color blue. Any suggestions on how i can make my gauge lights blue? And also,

Any new suggestions would be great. I want to get some 12s but don't know what. My price range is about $200 for speakers and $200 for AMP. Also, i heard that i shouldn't change my factory radio but i know there will be problems installing the AMP. Please help

Why shouldn't you change your factory radio??? That's the FIRST thing you should change, IMO! And get a double-din radio. They look WAY better.
My amps are mounted to 3/4" plexiglas painted black on the backside, with the amps behind the back seat. Plexi is mounted to the fenderwells with brackets. The sub box is removable, I wanted to be able to USE my trunk for road trips.
My amp rack and sub box are lit with blue LED light strips, wired to my trunk light switch. I open the trunk and everything lights up.
My last 2 setups had the amp (1) mounted to the back of the rear passenger seat. These JL Audio amps didn't fit in the opening behind the seats without doing some cutting. That's why the amp rack. OTHERWISE, they'd been on the back seat again.
See my pic' album here or my cardomain site for pics.
bbengineer converts gauge clusters, etc, to LEDs in any color. It's not just a swap, you need to add resistors for the LEDs.

MJV: I have put a lot of systems in, and I prefer to use wood wrapped in vinyl (marine) and I have a pic of my old system in my photo album that way, but if thats not the look you want.... You can get a little crazy by using plexiglass sheets or rods (can be found on ebay) and what Im going to do is get a thick enough plexi to be able to put LED's in the back to light up all the plexi in the end! Im running 3 amps so I will probably make a shelf style unit in my back seat because my sub is to big for the trunk.

I prefer wood but after so many systems you have to change it up, and spending that little extra time to Spice things up def helps out at shows for sure. Hope this helps for ideas!

I wanted the 400.4 amp, but I blew out old amp, and this was in stock, and installed in about an hour. GREAT stuff!

Did you have to get an extra power source for the extra AMP? or do you have to regularly charge your battery?
