Default How to bypass amp?

Hey all...

I just purchased a Alpine CDE-9881 head-unit and when I hooked it up there was no sound. I was told that I need to bypass my factory amp for this to work...how do I do that exactly?

You don't need to bypass it, just turn it on. Make sure the amp turn-on wire is connected to the blue/white wire in the radio harness

I believe it's pink. I'll check at work tomorrow to make sure.
