I have installed 3 HID kits and have had various results, but after switching back to the kit I liked the best I started to think about how the bulb goes into the housing. Is the stick on the HID bulb supposed to be on facing up or down when installed in the actual headlight, or doesn't it matter? Pictures below kinda help but it was hard to take a pic of what I am talking about.

They way I have the bulb installed now the stick is facing up toward the hood of the car (The stick is the blue part connected to the bulb):

 

the bulb screws in only 1 way. there are 3 teeth on the bulb and 1 is shorter than the others so it can only go in one way. even if you can change the way it points i dont think it makes a difference
