Does anybody have a headrest with a SS logo embedded or stitched in? or any cool looking ones? i might buy some pace car chevy bow tie ones if i cant find any SS ones! let me know! pics would be sweet!

 

I don't know why GM didn't include the Stitched SS lettering on the Monte SS like they do with the Impala SS.
I looked for a long time on Ebay and other sites to find headrests but always came up empty. Thought about having mine done at an upholstery shop but that was too expensive. Finally I just ordered a set for an Impala SS from my local dealer , now the car looks right.

 

what year are the impala ss ones off of? i really would like to look into them. how much too???

Headrests from the the latest model years Impala SS will fit and they cost around $75 each.

 

Thank you. Yup, I love them. They are authentic GM too and not crappy vinyl, they are like ultrasuede type fabric.

I to mine to a interior shop and they gave me the leather to take to the embroidery shop to get them stitched on the leather and then back to the interior shop so they could re wrap the headrests .

 

the impala headrests fit on the 06-07 monte's but not on the 00-05 monte's. I don't think the space between the pole's match up. The best thing to do would be either grab some off of a pace car/special edition or have them custom embroidered at a shop. I paid 150 for my impala ones from a member on here and have seen them go for more and less over time.

 

oh really?? thanks for telling me that! i have an 05 monte ! i guess ill have to look for pace car headrests. any idea where i could find some?
