headlights dim when i roll up windows?

Default headlights dim when i roll up windows?

i noticed that they seem to dim when i am rolling my windows when they dont need to be. also, i noticed the speed is slower too. what and how can i fix this?

Sounds like a weak alternator! Battery is only used to start the car and the alternator is what powers the car once it is running.

No dont worry about this. Every single car does this even brand new 2009s (i tested it) the rolling up takes a lot of power. When you try to roll up an all ready rolled up window it gives the window motor full power because theres nothing that says "hey im rolled up now, u can stop giving me power". the motor doesnt know what position the window is so it tries super hard to roll the window up when its allready up which results in voltage drop. dont do that tho you can burn out your window motor and those are expensive.

wait do your headlight dim as the window rolls up? or when it allready rolled up and your trying to keep rolling it up?

just as they are already rolled up and i try to roll them up more. you know when you just do it to make sure there is no little crack

yeah thats normal, as for the slower windows rolling up it might just be in your head. find another monte and try to compare

im sure its the motor, though it could be in the op's head. a brand new motor will fix the speed issue
