Having Trouble Getting New Gauges Hooked!
So I just got my triple pillar gauge pod for my 04 monte ss s/c and I'm having issues with it. May sound a bit dumb but am I suppose to remove my factor piece out and replace it with the new pillar gauge or does it simply sit over the piece already there? anything I need to drill, screw on or off? Also, I have the aerofoce interceptor gauge from zzp. How do I go about installing that? where does it connect to? any step by step directions anywhere? I'm not really good with wiring stuff up lol any and all advice helps! thanks in advance!
Hello. The triple pod if it's like mine screws into the original one. I prefer drilling as little as I need to but yours is probably like mine. does yours have tabs on the inside?
ZZPerformance is usually good with giving directions. Did none come with your gauge? Call or email them and they'll send ya some.

The Aeroforce should plug directly into your OBDII port. No additional wiring should be needed, it gets power and all info. directly from the OBDII. Mine came with about 9 feet of cable which is plenty to run it up to a pillar.
My pillar pod also had two holes for mounting, as it was meant to be installed over the stock pillar, I didn't want to drill into my stock pillar so I just used some 3M double sided tape on the back side. Never had an issue with it, and it saved me from drilling any holes in the oem pillar which would have looked terrible now that I don't have the pillar pod lol.
