That's a change I never knew about!!

 

i know my 7th gen dont have them it gets desplayed on the dash i would perfer the type you have to be honest

 

I want to remove mine sometime too. The plastic piece with the numbers got pushed in by the PO and when I try to straighten it I hear it crack. The change to the flat piece occurred in 2002 and up.

 

Mine dont have it none of my vehicles have it like that & i wanna see pics of this carpet cupholder thingy

 

Frank, is there any way u could find one for me because it seems no junkyards in NJ has a monte carlo newer than i 99 and u seem to find everthing for any year u want its crazy i have looked everywhere. pm me if you can help thanks

 

Doesn't that stink? I have the same issues around here where I'm at in Iowa. I can't find any 6th gens in the "U-Pull" kind of places. Regular junkyards around here want too much for their parts.
