FYI: Never buy Autopia Fog Lights off ebay
Guys, I'm so ticked off right now. I just finished two hours of work trying to get these stupid lights to work, and it turns out they're not even close to fitting. So yeah, if you see a seemingly good deal on Ebay for Autopia's replacement fog lights for a 06-07 Monte, keep looking. These suckers are around 4 " in diameter, and the originals are much smaller. More like 1.75" in diameter, 3" diameter with that chrome ring. I dunno if they'll work for the 2000-2005's, but measure first.
Oh, and if anyone needs about 4" fogs let me know, if I can't return these, I just might have some spares.

Mike, bummer 4-$ure
I am always concerned when buying from e-bay.
I have a really tight budget, & have to watch every dollar
I spend : (
Did the company have a good rating ?
I also want to change the bulbs in my Monte.
Members, please send your donations to

Mike, thanks for letting us know, and please post
a update on what you do, get, install .
Wish you Good Luck,

Well, I'm checking on those "blinglights" which are essentially reselling PIAA foglights. If those work without removing the chrome ring I'll get them. Otherwise I hate to remove the chrome ring, because the ring is 3" in diameter, and these are only like 2", so they won't look as good in the factory hole.
The reason I got the Autopialights kit is because with those you get this LED ring which looks pretty cool, unfortunately the company is absolutely no help with wiring questions, and then the lights didn't even fit. I left neutral feedback before trying them, because they're no help, now I wish I had left negative feedback!
The stock lights, conveniently enough use 55 Watt H11 bulbs, the same bulbs we have in the low beams of the headlights. So if you ever want to avoid a fixit ticket just tell the cop to hold on 10 minutes. It's insanely simple to remove the stock headlight, reach down through the hole in the bumper, remove the stock foglight bulb, and swap it into the headlights.
The hard part is removing the stock foglights. The two bolts at the bottom of the foglight are easy enough using a T15 type male screwdriver thing. (not a torx socket, the opposite of a socket)
But the darned adjuster thing uses some kind of hex allenbit, that I don't have, must less in the length you need, because you actually have to reach in from the front of the foglight (through that chrome ring) to get to it.
I can't see the wiring being to insanely difficult, since my car was wired for stock fogs, now I just have to find a foglight that fits!
Oh, and if you want new bulbs, any H-11 will work pretty much, just make sure you get something 55 watts or more, or it will be less bright than the stock bulbs.

that sux! sorry to hear man, maybe you can re-sell them, or contact the seller and if he said they'll fit, then he should take them back
They pretty much said they would take them back. My beef is that it looks like they just photochopped a pic of a Monte on the auction, with something resembling their lights. It makes it look like it fits right in the factory hole, with no visible mods. To even get these suckers close to stock looking, I'd have to cut out a hefty portion of the bumper-cover, which I am definitely not willing to do.
They have a 2.75" version, but have not told me if it's got the LED's, or how it mounts. If it's the same way, I'll probably end up having to fab some kind of mount from the horn mounts, or maybe glue something to the bumper cover to support it... Definitely do not want to drill into anything where the resulting hole or the mounting bracketswould be visible.

Thanks, at worst I could probably re-sell em or something, It's just the fact that they basically lied that's bothering me. If I misunderstood the auction or something I could see where oh, my bad, but ****, when they grossly misrepresent a product like they are.... hell no. I paid for Paypal's little guarantee thing so if I get gypp-ed I will still probably get my money back.
