Free Subs!!
So I scored these subs and amp for free from a friend. I don't really know anything about them though. I did hook up the two subs to my current amp and they both work good. I don't know about the amp because I didn't hook it up. It is a MTX thunder250x. It looks to be two channel Left and Right. I'm not sure on the specs on it though. Does anyone know anything about the sub/amp?
What should I do with it? I've already got two 12'' E's in my trunk so not like I have the room. I thought I could use the amp to power some door speakers though? Not sure if the system is worth selling or how much it's worth either.
The subs/box.

This is what the amp looks like.

Heres the specs i found on the amp
Output Power at 12.5V:
2 x 25W @ 4 ohms (<0.05% THD+N)
2 x 50W @ 2 ohms (<0.1% THD+N)
1 x 100W @ 4 ohms bridged (<0.1% THD+N)
1 x 200w @ 4 ohms bridged 14.4 vdc
S/N Ratio: >110dBA
Damping Factor: >200
Fuse: 25A

Found this on the MTX site
RMS Power measured at 12.5 Volts DC:
25 Watts x 2 into a 4 Ohm load with less than 0.05% THD+N
50 Watts x 2 into a 2 Ohm load with less than 0.1% THD+N
100 Watts bridged into a 4 Ohm load with less than 0.1% THD+N
MTX Car Audio - Archive - Thunder250x
So only 25 watt RMS on two channels at 4 ohms.
I'm looking at some 50 watt RMS door speakers. How would this amp work with some 4 ohm 5.25'' door speakers? Seems like it would be underpowered, no?
Hell my head unit puts out 20 watts RMS x 4, this amp is hardly better than my h/u..?
