Nice! If I had my wires done and my amp hooked up I'd love to have a good set a 12s in it.

Just turn the gain down if the bass is too much. The bass is probably just overpowering your mids and highs.
I had the same problem with my 500W RMS Alpine Type-R, until I hooked up a 2 channel amp to my door speakers (Replaced factory speakers with a good set of Polk audio ones). Sounds fantastic now!

They're pretty cool for showing off, lol. Took the car to it's first car show today.

It's not that it's overpowering, it's just that it hurts to listen to it, lol. I found a Sub-W Level setting that ranges from -15 to +15 and that works best i have found for changing it depending on what i'm doing, for cruising and listening to music I'll set it in the -5 to 0 range, (Oh I also used to have my band 1 q setting to .25 which made every hit of bass a boom, now it's at 1.00 so the bass is more accurate and sounds better), and if I'm showing off a rap song or something I'll set it to +5 to +9 range. This thing shakes windows. No joke.
