Nice. I wish I had the confidence to start projects like that.

 

ha its a pain in the *** ill tell ya...sanding and sanding and sanding and sanding. this was my first fiberglass work as well as bondo so its nowhere near perfect...u can see mayb 5 total small small nicks or divets but nothing noticible from 3+ feet away. 2 kicker L5s going in there with a kicker zx1000.1 amp to power them. got an idea of where to mount the amp where i havnt seen. will post pics before i mention my ideas lol

 

whats the port tuned to? i imagine those L5's want something pretty low.

thanks jaws. yea idk what the ports are tuned to? whats the formula to figure them out?

 

their ar eprograms to figuire it out, i cant think of the name of the one off hand, but those ports look awduly small, which means their gonna be tuned to a higher frequency which could give you more a bursty tunnely sound, rather than a nice low hiting thump. depends on the music really, its gonna hev more reflex and play tigher with a smaller port but you gatta find the happy medium.

 

the port goes back about 10 or 11 inches i cant remember off hand...if i dont like the way it sounds ill just seal up the ports and keep it sealed.
