fact. radio & subz?

Default fact. radio & subz?

okay i juss got a prowler yellow 03 monte and i was wondering what would be the easiest and cheapest way to add subs but still keep all my steerin wheel controls and door chimes and all that good stuff?

well with your stock head unit......all you have to do is wire the amp/subs normally... but instead of running an rca wire to the head unit, u can get an adapter from a car audio store that allows you to splice into your 6x9s and run the rca cable from that to your amp. so u dont have to buy a head unit.

so to keep your steering wheel controls and chimes you gotta either get the wiring harness for the aftermarket head unit or just keep the stock one in...

Will splicing the RCAs into the 6x9s comprimise the audio quality?

okay but i REALLY dont like the car audio shops around me...
so is there any website that has these adapters?

umm im not positive if it will sacrifice quality but i didnt notice any major differences in mine when i had it set up like this and after i got my new head unit.....

&& a website where u can find the adapter would be http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...er&tp=2001

however that is not the same adapter i used, but it looks like it would work...

you could either go with a JL Audio Cleansweep, or an Audio Control LC8. They both allow integration from Factory head unit to aftermarket amps.
