Default DVD Head Unit No Video

Hey all, I'm installing a DVD Head Unit in my 2005 Monte LT tonight. So far the installation has gone well, I used the Axxess GMOS-04 and a PAC swi-x Steering wheel interface to keep it as close to stock as possible. However my problem lies with the Head Unit not giving me any video on the screen. The sound works, but I have no video at all, the screen won't even turn on. Is there a video adapter that I was supposed to get? Please let me know, I have the dash out at the moment, and the whole setup wired up. Please give me a heads up ASAP. Thanks!

No, there is a wire that says Brake, and is currently not connected.

HA theres why there is no vid.

Ground it out and you will get vid. Attach it to something metel under the dash or just use the deck ground.

ok here is the deal

the wire that you have that was not hooked up. needs to have a switch in to it.

you can check this easily. ground the wire out like he said to do then when the warrning comes up release and retouch the ground agian.

IF this works that is the deal. Mine did this same thing to me and needed to have a switch put in to it for this reason,

other wise you will have to find out if there is a trigger that you have missed that needs to be hit to ge tthe video on the screen.

This is a Park wire issue. I bought a bypass for mine on ebay, but you might just be able to ground this one as well.
