and this is outside of my car (night time obviously) through 20% tint, just to give you an idea of how bright they are.

I gotta go back and upgrade mine. I have a few red LEDs and the Dome is white, but I don't think they're bright enough.

So I'm bored here at work and got to thinking of some ideas for my car. I currently have a LED bulb in my trunk, but it's not very bright at night since the bulb is up inside of the trunk and it looses a lot of light. Heres my idea (but IDK if it would work).

Get a LED bar (something like this; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-46-...Q5fAccessories )

and wire it up to the current wires for the trunk bulb. Then of course mount it. What do you all think? Could that work?

 

If you were to get something like that, i would wire in a relay.
