Dash help

Default Dash help

The dash pad on my 07 SS is starting to separate on the passenger side. there is quite a large gap forming b/w the pad and the airbag compartment. Is this happening to anyone else? What have people done to fix it? How about replacing it? thanks for the help. I will post a picture tomorrow.

All, I tried to upload the picture but it didn't work. What I was able to do is put it in my picture album labeled dash problem. Thanks and please respond.

I saw the picture, it looks like you will have to replace it, they're pretty simple to pull out, look at my video below, you need to remove that part of the dash and then remove the rest of the dash.

Your best bet may be able to find one at a junk yard just to save on costs, or else you could probably find one on GMPD.

That usually happens from the heat and sitting in the sun, so that may be the case here.

mine looks similar. i personally dont think its worth the money, or effort to replace it.

Mines doing it a bit on the drivers side and right above the radio where it comes tot hat little point. I just started putting a sunshade in mine and it hasnt gotten any worse and its not to the point where it bothers me...yet.
