Default blown speacker cover

ok me and my friends where fooling around. and he had just put a new syestem setup in hic accord. so i listen to it, it is loud! ok, so i dont have a syestem, but it is preety loud to me.

i got the sirius satelite radio in my car, so turn the bass all the way up and the tempo( lyrics ) down and switch it to rock mode in the settings so it really hits hard. and i crank it to the maz and it is loud!

shaking the morriors and everything and i turn it down, later i look at the speackers in the back window and relize that the speackers are both busted with huge creacks down the middle!! is that possible that it came from the music?

it never happened before, and i swear i looked at those speackers tons of times, or did one of the guys at that shop busted them and did not tell me?

yes its because you tried to push too much bass though 6x9s that were obviously not meant to push bass. they make aftermarket speakers for that, that are made of kevlar or ??proplone?? cones instead of paper ones.

if so they are pretty brittle from the sun on them all the time. when i replaced my speakers back there i just touched them and they just practically crumbled.

I got new speaker grills at chevy dealer for about $ 15.00. you need to pull the package tray out to replace them the right way. I think there is a sticky in the how to section on the tray
make sure you don't get pieces and parts in you speakers or it will sound like crap.
